The reason my girlfriend and I decided to start this site is to give people in the surrounding areas a place to discuss any occurances around their house or in their general area that can't be explained. Or just things that they may have heard or other peoples experiences. This website is basically for the St. Clair County and surrounding areas, but will gladly invite all who might have a story to share, whether paranormal or cryptids.
This story is on the experiences page as well, but I would like to tell you how it all started. To start with, I have been researching cryptids for as long as I can remember, and guess you could've called me kind of skeptic, that is until November.
It all started when my girlfriend and I were on the back porch and we heard this siren like call. When we heard this, we went back into the house for a little while and our curiosity got the best of us, me anyways. So we went back outside and were sitting on the back deck and it happened again as if something were watching us. I stood up and yelled back at it, as we started back in the house, it happened again. Since that day, I have became a believer in the fact that there are things out there not yet understood or that have been proven, but you can mark my word, that day is coming sooner than than we may think. With all the the land developments and houses, comes more habitat that we are destroying. Therefore, less places for them or anything to hide. There are so many things happening around our house, such as the formations, noises, footprints, rock throwing, tree or wood knocking, rock clicking, etc. For one instance, one night I had let my dog out to do his business, and as he went around the building in the back yard, he startled something rather large. The reason I say that is the loud growl that was made three times in a row. Needless to say that before I could call him back to the porch, he had already beaten me to it. I had my youngest son to go in and get the spotlight and we shined it in the general area the noise had come from. When we did, we found two rather large yellow eyes looking back at us. We could also tell that they belonged to a rather large creature, but it never bothered to run, it just stood there staring at us as we were staring at it in amazment . When I would blink the light off and back on it seemed to have moved back, quietly, no sticks breaking, no leaves rustling, no noise at all. We kinda got spooked and went inside. When we went back out to look again, it was gone. I would like to go into further detail, but for now, I have to go. We will add more later, and believe me there is more, alot more, such as when my older son and some of his friends went camping down by the creek, among other experiences. More to come
