This page is going to be on the level of intelligence that these creatures seem to have.They are most definetly highly intelligent and they have proven that for many,many years.These creatures have existed for hundreds of years according to indian folklore.There are many,many references made to these creatures throughout the folklore of many different tribes throughout the United States and Canada,even as far as Russia and China.
Now lets talk about the level of intelligence these creatures seem to have,although there are some people who think that they have a level of intelligence comparable to a five yr old child.I disagree,the level of intelligence that it takes to build some of the formations that I have found seems to be much higher than a five year olds.These creatures seem to have a very highly evolved form of communication and they seem to build territorial markers to let others know to go a certain way or to stay out of certain areas.I have saw intricate weaving of vines ,small trees and they seem to build shelters.If you can find me a five year old child that can do these things then I would like to put it to the test.They also build these complex blinds,that are made up of vines, small sappling trees,and limbs and twigs.I have also found that they know how to keep hidden very well.My friend and I have been out looking for signs and trying to track one of these creatures that seem to have made itself a home in the forrest surrounding the area in which I live.While out trying to track this creature or creatures we have noticed that when we are moving along through the woods something seems to be paralelling us as we move through the thickets and under brush.Myself and others tend to believe that the creatures post what would be called sentries or lookouts that will warn the others that someone is in the area.
The most intriguing part about these creatures is simply that dating as far back as colonial times there have been sightings.But most of all after all of these years of sightings,stories,myths and legends not one of these creatures have been captured.That should tell you just how intelligent these creatures are.It is simply amazing that out of all of the groups that are out there trying to prove there existence,haven't been able to capture one.Seems to kinda tell a fascinating story in itself.There are several indian legends that we will discuss in the section of indian folklore,these stories are simply amazing and tend to capture your imagination.
One of the earliest documented cases of a strange creature that left rather large foot prints is a New York news paper dated 1814.Although this article is dated 1814,these reports date as far back as precolonial times.I recently read a statement made by a person that seems to be well estsblished in the field of cryptozoology that seems to be the definition of the intelligence of these creatures.The statment that was made goes something like this "The smartest animals out there are the ones that have not been discovered yet" this is the one statement that I think is a testimony to the intelligence of these creatures.There have been so many sightings of these creatures and other evidence that seem to point to there existence,but there has been know definitive proof of there existence.
I honestly do see in the future that there existence being proven.Simply because if we humans keep building and developing the lands that have been there habitat for hundreds of years we will eventually prove there existence.I will tell you of a personal expierence that I had while out doing some research on these creatures.In the woods behind my house there is a thicket of pine trees that seems to be traveled alot by these creatures.We have found several large foot prints and other things down there.What I am about to tell you maybe an answer to the reason that there are not alot of samples of feces found.I was walking along and just happened to find this place in the leaf litter that looked as if someone or something had taken a rather wide foot and raked it back to cover something up.When I closely examined the area I found that underneath where the rake was made there was something that looked like feces.Now if this is proven to be true that, they do know how to hide there existence.Then that will be more than enough to prove there intelligence.
