Our very first experience was in November of '07. We were on our back porch and heard this awful noise. It was kind of like a siren type scream that went from a high pitch to a low pitch noise. We had never heard anything like this before and could come up with no other animal it could have been. Me, being the sceptic that I WAS on this subject, tried to come up with every animal and explanation that I possibly could, but none made sense. This was truly something I could not explain. The noise un-nerved us to the point that we decided to come back inside. We talked about it a while and decided that what ever it was would be gone and we went back outside. Gone, wrong. It done it a second time. We decided to stay out a few minutes to see if we could hear it again. We didn't hear anything for a while and as we were coming back in the house, it made the noise a third time. We told his son about the noise and we were sure he would think we were crazy, but it wouldn't be long for him to find out that we weren't. Stay tuned for his stories and more of our own experiences. Well we promised some new experiences.This is a story just told to me a couple of days ago.This supposedly took place in 1969 on a new section of the interstate that was being built at the time.When I was told this I was kinda in disbelief.The man that told me this, is a Christian and do not think that he would tell me something that is not true.He told me that he and some friends were out drag racing one night and he was at the end of the strip that they had marked for the race to flag people down.He said that when the last two racers came through he started back to the start line when he heard something behind him,he had turned to look and didn't see anything.So he turned back around and began walking again,then all of a sudden he felt something grab him from behind and what ever it was picked him up and threw him about 15 yards.He said that when he landed that he couldn't really tell if he was in shock or just to terrified to move.So he just laid there until he saw headlights from his brothers car and then he raised up so they could see him.
When his brother and friends got to him they helped him and he told them what had happened.They began checking him out and discovered that his clothes were covered in curly black hair from what ever had thrown him.This incident is supposedly on record at a local police station.I do plan on checking into this and will report my findings.

Now here is another story and this one comes from my son and four of his friends.We live on a dead end street with a wooded area and a large creek.So my son and his friends decided that they would like to camp out down at the creek.So I said that would be okay,then my son went down the ridge from the house and cleaned out a campsite for them to use,next to the creek.It was on a weekend when they decided to camp out.They got all their gear together and went down to the campsite.They got everything together and all set up.It began to rain and they began to see shadows running by the tent and as they would pass something would drag down the side of the tent.Then as the night went on they began to hear strange grunts and growls among other things.As the night went on they began to get things thrown at the tent.So around 4:30 in the morning I got a call from my son to bring the shotgun down there and get them out of the woods.So I got up and went and got them and they were all scared to death and by the way these boys are all 17 yrs old and all football players{just wanted to add that} they are all big boys as in fit and healthy and not easily scared.They all have told me the same story and I believe them.With this and all the other personal experiences that we have had around here I have to say that there is something strange going on in St.Clair County.
